yellow emitter for the large star on the front of Mercedes Actros trucks that gives you the typical yellow light. It replaces the original white emitter.

To mount this emitter, you will have to dissassemble the original logo, replace the emitter and then finally glue the parts together again. This takes about 30 minutes.

Instructions

Note A: The lamp-part is assembled with the logo with the 3 plastic-tabs that are bent out over the lamp-part. Straighten the plastic, then you can pull the two apart.

Note B: The clear plastic part and the white plastic part that the lamp-part consists of, are glued together with a black glue. Use a knife and a screwdriver to seperate the two parts. Be careful.

After this you can easily remove the original emitter and put the yellow one in. Before you glue the parts together again, you should remove the old glue. Logo and lamp parts are put back again, same way, as you took them apart.

Notice that the star with a light in is an extra accessory that is bought from Mercedes. If you do not have light in the front, you cannot use this to get it.
